Max Kühner

From Austria, 8th in the Longines Rankings

I do not care about climbing the ranking list. I focus on doing a good job, on making my horses grow and having fun with them.

 

Aged 51, Max won Team bronze at the 2023 European Championships. He competed in the Paris Olympic Games (came 7th in Individual) and in the 2018 World Equestrian Games he came 6th individually. Max has competed at 5 European championships and 5 World Cup Finals.

 

Scott Brash

From Great Britain, Ranked 61st

I believe you can only achieve exceptional things if you build a partnership with a
horse and that takes time and trust.

 

Scott, aged 39 was part of the British team that won team gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics and the same for the London Olympic Games in 2012. Scott won Team Bronze at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics Games and Team Bronze in the 2022 World Championships.

John Witaker

From Great Britain,  Ranked 217th

In this sport you lose more than you win, and you need to learn to cope with that. You have to be able to pick yourself up and come back and try another day.

 

John is quite possibly the most legendary showjumper currently competing. He has been number one in the world frequently and is still as competitive as ever at the age of nearly 70. He has competed in multiple Olympic Games including: Los Angeles 1984 with Team Silver with legendary Ryans Son, 1992 Barcelona 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2008 Beijing/Hong Kong and Rio.

Richard Vogel

From Germany, Ranked 9th

The more you work, the luckier you get.

 

Aged only 28, Richard competed at the Paris Olympics Games in 2024. He was also a part of the team that won the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup when he also won the individual first.

Jacqueline Lai

From Hong Kong, Rode at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon USA

Jacqueline’s birthday is during this show when she will be aged 34. She has competed at the Continental / Regional Games and Hangzhuo in 2023 when she won Individual Gold. She was also a part of the Gold Medal winning team at the Continental/regional Championships in Pattaya in 2019.

Patrick Lam

From Austria, Ranked 734th Longines
Rankings and 523rd in Eventing Rankings

Every horse is a new challenge and you never get bored.

 

Patrick, aged 42, trains in Austria competes in two equestrian disciplines; Eventing and Jumping. He rode at the Beijing/Hong Kong Olympic Games 2008 in Eventing. In 2010, he won the bronze team medal at the Asian Games.

At the Continental/Regional Championships in Pattaya, Patrick won 5th individual and team Gold. He has received the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service in recognition of his achievements in equestrian sports.
